Learning for Life

Many students were part of the November 22nd shopping extravaganza in the school gymnasium.  They sold coasters, trivets and cards that were made by dozens of students.  It was an extremely successful and satisfying endeavour for students.

Students assisted, as well, in the planning and preparation of the patrol appreciation event and the Boston Pizza Fun Lunch.  Students managed accounting and delivery responsibilities. The monies raised from these sales will be used to support Learning for Life programming.

French Learning for Life, “Apprentissage pour la Vie” participated in cooking activities which included finding recipes, translating them into French, and preparing them. This was celebrated by sharing the treat and explaining the process.

Future activities en Français will include excursions to support and emphasize French culture, language acquisition and social communication.
