From supervising students that evening to lending us many animal costumes from your costume collections, this was truly a team effort.

Grade 2 students will be attend the WSO on January 25, 2010 for The Magic Orchestra, part of the WSO’s Musical Discoveries program 2009-2010.  This is a new program the symphony is offering that is intended for a primary audience.  Students will hear a variety of pieces from Rimsky-Korsakov, Wagner, and Strauss, to name a few.  Aside from experiencing and discussing the technical aspects of the pieces, students will also engage in discussion about “concert etiquette”, which not only focuses on how to behave during the concert, but also on the events that occur during the concert, such as tuning and the arrival of the conductor.
