Choir Notes

This was an exciting opportunity for choir students who attended extra rehearsals at 8:00am in preparation for the event.

As the New Year begins, students are again invited to join any of the 3 choirs at Van Walleghem School.  All 3 groups have a very busy performance schedule ahead of them with performances at both our divisional festival, Pembina Trails Sings, as well as the Winnipeg Music Festival.  There will also be other school-based performance opportunities for students.

VW Choirs rehearse as follows:

VW Grade 6-8 Concert Choir- Day 2 @ 12:25

VW Grade 3-5 Junior Choir- Day 6 @ 12:25

VW Grade 1 and 2 Primary Choir- Day 4 during morning recess

Lastly, Ms. Davis and Ms. Ciavarelli are looking for a couple of parents who would be interested in helping out with our growing choral program.  Tasks include preparing for “choir parties” (a celebration we have following a performance), tracking attendance, organizing permission forms, and organizing music.  Please email Ms. Ciavarelli at aciavarelli@pembinatrails.ca if you are able to help.
